How would you describe your room?

Question

Mine is literally like a combination of a museum, gallery and library meets windowshopping . I have oversized art canvas on all 4 walls and several stacked against one corner of the room since I ran out of room to hang stuff. When you come in my room, the first thing you see is my skate racks, below them are all the old game consoles and my workstation. On the left wall is all my kicks and my semi-organized library of cds/dvds. The other wall is my queen sleigh bed with the flat screen and dresser across from it. My room is like a little dorm but i love it. I can’t wait to build a house so I can spread everything out into an area of its own. But yea, I just dont like to spend much time in my room aside from sleeping. I keep it dark and cold like a vampires lair with the blackout curtains and all. The living room is my happy place to relax #FeelFreeToList

My room is almost always a total mess. There's post it notes all over and Camera parts and random crap people just leave in there. Where I'm living right now there's no space for a desk so I have to use my bed as one but I have a nice lounge style chair that is the perfect height.

I clean my room out of garbage every morning. Sometimes I eat while I work especially at night. And every Friday (usually) I do my sheets.

My room is messy because I'm always doing so many things at once, I have to have access to so many things. Usually, I'll reorganize everything when I don't have too much going on at once. I'll Vaccume, get rid of dust, and stuff. I hate bugs so I'm pretty on top of stuff that can attract them.

I barely decorate room at all. It's totally meant to be functional especially since my living situation is only temporary rn.

I'll probably do something cool when I get an apartment again.

My current bedroom is small, quirky, and full of too much sh*t, just like me.

My current place. It's tiny as hell, but the neighborhood is quite nice and peaceful.

My old apartment at my last job in another city was one big studio, so I'd say it was "open" and peaceful.

My place back in 2021. I loved this apartment, but the job SUCKED.

My first apartment in South Korea was eventually very nice, but when I first got there, it was a sh*thole. It just has a lot of space and is big, as far as Korean places go, but I had to buy everything in there myself. In the end, I think it was an amazing apartment I left it as, before I left in 2020.

My apartment back in the US was very personalized and fit me to a T, although every single piece of furniture in there was a yard sale/Craigslist giveaway. I didn't like that, but I was broke AF at the time. It also looks messier now, in hindsight, but at the time, I liked it.

Every furniture is black, my shoes and bags are visible clean set up on shelves and I have two modern black-white pics hanging above my bed, one is the mond phases and one is a sketching of a woman and that's pretty much it

My bedroom is 12x11, has 100 year old rift sawn maple hardwood floors, small his and hers closets on either side of the door to the ensuite bathroom, has 3 medium gray walls with a dark purple wall behind the headboard, white ceiling with a ceiling fan, and two windows.

One window (at the head of the bed) is a tall and narrow double hung window, the other is an antique plate glass window with leaded glass in the top 10" of the window, featuring a green fleur de lis. The windows both have white 2" faux wood blinds.

All of the wide craftsman style trim and doors are painted white. The doors are all 4 panel doors with oil rubbed bronze rim locks (the latch is on the face of the door instead of morticed into the edge of the door. The door knobs are Bennington pottery (brown woodgrain looking).

There is a tall dresser across from the foot of the bed with a small tv wall mounted above it. There's a gray upholstered bench at the foot of the bed. There's a small (3' tall) antique bookshelf in one corner. There are two replica danish teak bedside tables, and two wooden table lamps with barrel lamp shades on those tables, fitted with half-chrome light bulbs to limit light spill onto the ceiling. On the bed is a deep purple covered duvet over charcoal sheets. In one corner of the room is a cat bed that seldomly gets used but the cat will complain about if it's missing.

☝️😏 I have a shelve of books I admire, but never read; movies I have watched, and nearly idolize.

I have some “stuffies” that rest in any spot of the room, in which they seem like they can live there lol

I have some ‘odd things’ in my room like a dead bug casing: a molt from a cicada nymph, I found outside on a tree.

Some rocks, some bird feathers, some pass downs from my deceased grandfather.

For things hung in my room: I have a calendar, religious cloth painting/stitching, a minor soccer league, team flag (and it’s so huge- it’s my favorite- they also coincidentally have my favorite colors).

I have a jewelry case, and let me just say-

I have piles of clutter in nearly every corner of the room. It feels a relief to admit 👐😂.

I have other items, but no biggie in saying so. 👐👀

Right now it’s a hoarders room from all the Christmas shit , it’s an obstacle for me to get into bed lol I will eventually clean it up when I get the time , work has been taking to much of my time so by the time I get home I am dead and plus this cold weather isn’t helping either , I hate the winter time with a passion , it sucks so much energy out of me , depressing , why I so want to move somewhere where it’s warm all year round , that would be a dream come true , but for now I am stuck on this shit city with shit weather. Mine is basically a library/tomb/medieval armory. 🤷‍♂️

It's got the basic stuff (bed, dresser, chest of drawers), but I also have my extra bookshelf in there, which didn't fit in the extra room/office. I also collect swords/knives/axes/etc, several of which are on display.

I also have a blackout screen over the window, with blackout curtains over that. Plus it's about 10-15° colder than the entire rest of the house, which makes it insanely comfortable to fall asleep in.

I really only use my room for sleep & sex, though, so I'm really not in there all that much, aside from those two activities.

I have an attic style bedroom with a dormer window. Bed is in the dormer alcove. Pretty minimalist. I don't have a lot of clothes so most stuff fits in the built in robes.

There is a couch to watch TV, should the house mate piss me off. No curtains or blinds as no one can see in and I like waking up to the sun.

Hardwood floor on concrete sub-floor as I hate carpet. Easier to sweep or mop.

It is partially in the roof space so it can get unfortunately hot in summer.

No idea how to describe "my" room. Which room? They're all mine actually, but the kitchen set aside, my room (s) are more work places, with all kinds of tools everywhere, and musical instruments, pictures and photographies everywhere. There is some kind of logic and esthetics, but not those most people expect.

My room is very plain. It looks like a jail cell. I have never decorated any of my rooms as an adult, because #1 I'm poor, and decorations are a First World Problem, #2 I don't care, and #3 I move around so much that I would just have to take the decorations down again 5 minutes after I put them up. So why bother?

My room is in the basement and it has a recliner my big queen size bed, book shelf with a lot of books and some of my athletic and academic achievement certificate and medals, got a 72 inch smart TV and a PS4. I also have a huge walk in closet that could actually be a room in it self but I just use it to get dress and clothes. I don't have much things on the wall but I do have a big picture of the Bettles and the singing of the declaration of independence picture on the walls.

So your room is your dungeon huh? I have very little in our room. We like clutter free rooms. I have a medium sized artwork on each wall. On the back wall I have our bed with 2 nightstands. Across from the bed I have the TV mounted on the wall above my dresser. The wall on the right is my wife's dresser. Across from it is our closets

My house is a 4 bedroom house which I own. Has an enclosed pool and is on the water.

3 of the bedrooms have king sized beds plus Tv and a disc drive for people who want to watch Porn while the have sex.
