I am happy to get back into a routine but I will miss my lazy days curled up with a book!

No because it always feels rushed. I had to help my mother make the Christmas goodies, wrap gifts, clean house, etc. Barely had any time to decorate the tree much less enjoy it. She keeps the tree up till January 5-6 for old Christmas. Also the daylight savings time crap - you lose sunlight so it feels like your day is going by faster and faster. 😞

I'm feeling the same way as you. I like the holiday period for a limited amount of time. Ready for "normalcy". But, I miss not having the responsibility of work.
