I bet very few y'all can do both.
1.4K opinions shared on Other topic. I need to keep working on looking on the positives and not always feeling the negatives so intensely. Intellectually I know that life is not easy or enjoyable or happy all the time. (Not even close.) But something happens in my mind when too many negative experiences happens back-to-back. It sends a cascade of negativity in me.
I need to prioritize my physical state of being, and not just keep indulging the mental in me. I can go for hours and hours in thought, research, or communicating with another (if the topic and conversation is deep and fulfilling or fun and playful), but I can completely ignore the physical. It just doesn't give me the same brain buzz at all, so I have to force myself to do it, remind myself it's necessary, not for pleasure.
I need to stop eating Lay's Sour Cream & Onion chips as a late night snack. But fuck me those things are good. (I've always had a chip thing, my whole life. The flavours just change over the years.) I'm not eating a lot of them at a time, but it breaks my no late night eating rule.
I probably don't want to ever consciously wall-up my heart. Probably.
I doubt I will ever consciously give up on learning and researching my curiosities.
If I give up on being playful, forget it. I'm done. I really don't see the point in sticking around if there will no longer be any laughs.

+1 yI wish I knew how to be more empathetic. I'm kinda an ass sometimes and it's usually without me even realizing it. Sometimes I say stuff "out of pocket" lol
I'd like to get into shape. I've been overweight for most of my life, it's starting to get better but I just need to keep going.
Ummm, I think the last thing to change about myself would be my resolve as of late. Maybe more of a mentality. I've been kinda getting my ass kicked by life lately and it's been hard to put the same energy into everything I do that I always have. I'm stressed out, losing hair, my situation keeps getting worse in certain ways. And I'm starting to look back at certain things that I wish I could have done differently but still not really sure what to do o change now so I guess in a word that's probably in some way me just being stubborn.
Things I'd never change, my sense of humor is one. It doesn't matter what situation I'm in, I'll be pushing my luck with that lol.
I'd also never change that I have goals in life and I'd rather reach them or have next to nothing. I'm not really interested in having a family if I'm not financially sound. And I'm not interested in settling much.
The last thing I'd never change about myself is that even though I can be a little unempathetic or rude sometimes, I genuinely do have love in my heart for everyone. I'd never want to see anyone suffer for any reason other than for them to grow and even then, I don't take pleasure in other people's suffering.
Wasn't that hard āŗ

m +1 y-- I would get better knees... well, the joints can sometimes lock the wrong way, and although is very rare when it happens, I imagine there's no good reason for it... lol
-- I would like to be one inch shorter in height...
-- and I think I would have liked to have that hair that is straight AF... because I imagine that is easier to keep up, lol (no knots) but I might be wrong about this one
- one thing I would never ever change is every challenge and adversity I had to overcome, as awful and as painful as it's been, it made me who I am today, and it made me appreciate all the blessings I've and also how fortunate I really am
- I would never change my long ass name and surnames as many suggested the custom to be, lol...- and I would never change any of my flaws either, because for the most part I've learned to recognize them and to keep them under control as well, so not having these flaws would mean that I would have others or new ones so screw that, I spend a lifetime learned to tame the original ones, lmfao...

+1 yGreat question! Yeah I donāt know if I can do either. Lmao! Honestly there is so much that I can be negative about that I find it had to narrow it down and then itās hard to be thankful for things too. Haha!
I guess for things I would want to change. I want to get in shape. And I want to get my finances under control. I guess the only thing after that could be focusing on being more positive.
And for things I can say that I wouldnāt want to change. I love the area I live in. I love the people I have around me and the group of friends who always have my back. And I love the stupid stubborn attitude I attack everything with. Lol! It isnāt always healthy but it is stubborn and I want to figure out how to use that.215 Reply- +1 y

Agreed on all fronts. Those are good choices! I mean Iāve never watched a game of yours to be clear. But those are great choices for a ball player. Although when I first read it I thought of the other kind of ball handling skills. And I was like⦠umm⦠lmao!

+1 yHmm I got small feet for my size 🤣 British size 7 and I'm 6ft. It can be a pain to buy shoes as usually my feet are a bit wider than average size 7 shoe hops, so finding something that fits me without squashing my pinkie toe is strange lol.
I broke my nose 2 times in the span of a year back in 4th grade, ever since then I haven't been atune to subtle smells, also the boxers nose. I've grew out of it so it doesn't look so crooked as it straightened itself out now as I've gotten bigger.
Hmm I'll get back to you on third I can't think of one 😂
It's only fair if you reveal yours own after asking that question aha21 Reply
+1 yThings I would like to change about myself:
1. I would like to be able to learn how to be a little less sensitive when my feelings get hurt.
2. I would like to be able to let things go when there are unresolved issues with people I have had troubles with.
3. I would like to get better at saying no to people who use me or take advantage of my generosity.
Things I would never change about myself:
1. I will never change my commitment to always questioning supposed truths, and being willing to challenge the status quo.
2. I will never change my commitment to my physical, mental and emotional health.
3. I will never change my empathetic heart toward people.20 Reply- 553 opinions shared on Other topic.
+1 yFirst off Id like to be more assertive as well as taking more of an initiative in my life. Another thing I would like to change or get better at is to cultivate better friendships and family relationships. There are also things related to my health like getting in better shape even though I'm not out of shape, it wouldn't hurt to be better in that regard. My sense of style is also trash 😅
For the things I wouldn't change I would say my compassion and understanding for people is a strength of mine where I'm not one to judge too quickly. I can look at all sides of a situation and give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm also able to joke around and not take things too seriously but that can sometimes be an issue but overall, I wouldn't change it completely. I'm also not one to give in to peer pressure to do something I don't want to do.

+1 y3 things I would change:
1. My hair color, I'd love for it to be pink again
2. My metabolism, I want to have a bit more energy and maybe smooth out my body a little
3. My fear of confrontation, I don't want to feel anxious just to ask for a day off of work that I know I deserve.3 things I would never change:
1. My creativity, I love being able to weave stories and have daydreams even as an adult instead of just acting like it's only for kids to do.
2. My love for myself, I'm awesome and the world should know it.
3. My knowledge of my limits. There's nothing wrong with stepping out of your comfort zone, but there are just things I can't do and knowing that doesn't make me any less of a person, or any weaker of one.10 Reply12.8K opinions shared on Other topic. I would fix all the things that are messed up with my body so I could run, lift weights, ride a surfboard and all the other things I can't do anymore. I would be more intelligent so I could have done better in school and I would fix a physical flaw I have that I have always been embarrassed about.
I would not change my dark sense of humor. I would not change my tenacity. And I would not change my honesty.

1. Eye color (I wish I had green eyes!).
2. A little more muscle tone.
3. Some personality quirks I picked up because I've been flying it solo for so long (you know... anxious tendencies of a person who doesn't socialize much that people misinterpret).
