748 opinions shared on Other topic. I don’t really have one. But I don’t have a lot of experience with them. If we’re talking about common pets I would love to have a beardie one day. But I’m still in the research phase of what they need and how to make a bioactive enclosure because I refuse to give a captive animal a subpar life with a tile flooring and plastic hide (not knocking those who choose that method of husbandry it’s just not for me). I actually almost bought an enclosure and a uromastyx that had apparently escaped his enclosure months before at the store (they thought he’d been stolen) and my friend and I happened to find him, until I learned he was wild caught and knew I could never provide the life he’d been taken from.
I wouldn’t mind a snake, I’m torn between a Kenyan sand boa and a reticulated python, but a python would require a very large enclosure which I don’t have the space nor money to built. Again I still need to research the snake I want, could end up just getting a corn snake to start with.10 Reply

+1 yI dig crocodilians. I visited a sanctuary once and became deeply fascinated by the animals therein. They’re smart, social, loyal, affectionate, they have amazing physiology and their commonalities with their ancient ancestors is absolutely astounding! Much like sharks, they haven’t had to change a great deal over thousands of generations. “Perfect predators” is overused to the point of being cliché, but i think it applies to crocodilians.

+1 yMy favorite reptiles belong in an order many people don't even know exist, called Rhynchocephalia.
Otherwise known as Tuataras. I read about them in a book when I was in 2nd grade and they have been my favorite reptiles ever since. Again as they are not taught in school I would always wonder when would I get to study about them, my wish was fulfilled in second year of university!

+1 yI do not know the difference between crocodiles and alligators but I like the type that swim in swamps. We visited a swamp that had tons of them during a vacation and afterwords I had a salad with their meat inside. I also got to pet one - I think it was $5.00 per hand hold.

They didn’t share that sentiment. lmao They were both p*ssed at me. One “rescue mission was witnesses by a flock of Canadian geese.. the looks on their faces.

They kick like crazy and throw their heads about frowning.
Why? 😁 - +1 y
Awww poor things. Obviously they don’t know you’re just trying to help them.
There were ponds around my previous apartment that attracted an insane amount of geese. Once getting past the sidewalks covered in their poop, I’d often have to alter my path because there would be a huge group of them ready to attack at every corner. They’re worse than street gangs - +1 y

I wonder if you walled by with fairy costume wings if they would have left you alone? They never bug me. I even ran up and hugged a big goose when I was two. Freaked my mother out but the bird did absolutely nothing.

😁 Just a thought. 😎
I know. But when birds are affectionate they wrap their heads around each others necks, so it was taken as natural or none threatening, I suppose. Or I just shocked the h*ll out of them. 🙃

Correct. USAA is an acronym that at one time stood for Uniformed Services Automobile Association. These days it is fairly easy to become a member if you have some familial connection. Their customer service is world class second to none. They have some formidable financial products too.

3 bearded dragons. One I had growing up (lost him in a power outage ☹️) and the two I have now. I was forced to take one of them. Was annoyed about it at first because I was planning on getting something else.
