depends on the person, i think a lot of people had done some kind of sport when they were young/now and have some sort of flexibility whatever that might be
i've always known how to do the splits and my legs are quite flexible but i've never done gymnastics or anything flexible apart from like yoga

Most people aren't. Most men are not that flexible and not all women are. Than again when does flexible start? If you take the average than probably half of people are flexible😅.

I'm very flexible, but I've always been athletic. Splits and high leg kicks are not a problem, I can stand in high heels and put both palms flat on the floor without bending at the knees, that's not too easy to do.
