Anyone else feel bored and kinda depressed in winter?

A bit. Seasonal depression is fairly common. Everyone should see a counselor for help with it if needed, but most people can treat it by seeing at least one friend or family member a day for at least an hour or so (playing a game is a great way), getting as much sunlight as possible each day, exercising or playing a sport, and doing at least a few things that bring you joy (like watching mostly comedies instead of tragedies or dramas, listening to your happy or pump up music playlist, eating some fresh tropical or summer fruit, etc.).

The only time it bothers me is when the weather turns to crap, rain/freezing rain and cloudy/mild. I like the -5 days with snow and sunshine. You can dress for that and get outside do things. Once the lake freezes over near my place, I like to go down to the shore, haul out some wood, light it up and maybe have hotdogs over the fire, lay on my snow machine and take the sun in.

I'm not depressed as of right now, but I definitely hate the cold. I can't wait for warm spring and hot summer to arrive. I love seeing the flowers bloom. Plus, it's a fact that flowers and dirt can make you happy.

I’ve been in Toronto the last couple months and the lack of snow here is really concerning.
It’s January, one of the coldest months of the year but +2 outside instead of -21

Sort of but, I tend to get these great urges to listen to my 78's during the winter months. I think it's just because that's what was available to me when I was a kid during those months so, it's become a sort of unconscious tradition. I don't plan it, it just gets in my head that time of year.

Seasonal depression is a thing. I do get it in the winter specifically bad winters. This winters been good and I’ve been able to be super active because of it and can go to the mountains for a hike whenever I want

I don't feel bored but I do feel a little bit sad when winter comes. I don't know what's the name of it, but it's a serious problem. Many people feel depressed when it's winter, mostly because the lack of vitamin D.

Air conditioning is so realaxing in the summer, especially after a long run, nothing like it

no because me and my family are always running around between Christmas parties and gatherings. i will admit, it can get old the cold weather. but also is a nice break from summer.

Very often but i overcome it when i am drinking hot tea or chocolate while sitting next to my boyfriend and watch Netflix

I have depression all the time and I’m bored 24/7, but winter doesn’t depress or bore me summer does i hate the heat as it makes me ill.

I hate summer as the heat makes me ill and gives me severe panic attacks as I can’t get cool, in the cold I can put the heat on and a jumper and keep warm.

Yes, it usually gets worse in March.

March is hit or miss for me. Some years it snows and rains and it's cold and slushy outside. Other years it's relatively warm and sunny.

By the time March comes around I am ready for spring and there is still 2 or three weeks of winter left. March is the cruellest month of all.
