The moon influences life as we know it on Earth. It influences our oceans, weather, and the hours in our days. Without the moon, tides would fall, nights would be darker, seasons would change, and the length of our days would alter.
Tides would decrease by like 70% leading to all kinds of losses to tidal area populations. Which mean less food for other ocean/land animals. Which means less food for other animals and so on etc. NightTime would be pretty dark which could probably effect land species migration and nocturnal hunters so pests like rodents would probably explode in population
Without the full strength Tides the ocean currents won't mix as much around the globe which could lead to major weather/climate shifts and the hot and cold areas dont try and reach an equilibrium. And eventually the earth would probably wobble more which would effect the climate even more drastically. So expect HUGE temperature extremes of hot and cold around the world over the next centuries.
Basically overtime most life would end. If not all.
Wince, because this is gonnna suck. Without the moon acting as a break, the Earth's rotation would speed up, gradually increasing about another third of what we currently do. Wildly shifting patterns of light and darkness would play merry havoc with our schedules, and a TON of plants and animals would die off, unable to adjust. It would also probably signal the end of manned space exploration, at least for the time being; the moon provides not only a good target, but a good jumping-off point, allowing you to create a launch base for long-distance exploration without risking Kesslerizing the planet.
And the schools would have to come up with a new ludicrous explanation for the tides, but that's really kinda minor in comparison.
Struggle as I try to learn to live in our new, probably extreme weather, climate. Sweltering incapacitating heat one month, hiding in igloos the next. Frequent natural disasters.
Of course that's not 100% what would happen but the basics of it is that our earth's rotation would be messed up and tilt at different rather than near constant angles. Don't think it'd be bad enough to kill us. But I reckon we'd be too busy to worry about nights suddenly being as dark as new moon nights all the time.

I would mourn. The moon reminds me monthly of what lies beyond. I lose myself until i see the moon. Then everything becomes perfectly clear. Ironically, nothing grounds me more than our nearest celestial neighbor.
Great fucking question!!!
Dude, I would start a GoFundMe asap, so that we could buy a new one!!! 🤔👍
They don't accept our currency ๐ฒ๐ต
That means the sun is gone as moon is noticed because of the sun.
It would be weird because we would no longer have high and low tides
Die most likely. The moon stabilizes the Earth's orbit. Without it we'd have no seasons and the whole food chain dependent on it would probably collapse with us along with it.
Iโd go cannibal. They always seem to do well in the movies
Live like the rest of the human beings because nothing can bring out my true power when it's gone
