I've had dreams where I "woke up" only to realize that I was still dreaming. These are usually nightmares. Generally, upon realizing that I'm still asleep I'm shortly afterwords attacked by some malevolent (in dream) presence who (for whatever reason) is angered that I've figured out that I'm still sleeping.
I even wake up from my bed at my home (but still in a dream)
Yeah, this has happened to me before. It's called false awakening
A bit odd lol
It ends up with sleep paralysis
