I made the mistake of caravanning with a neighbourhood friends family when I was 12. We went right round the country in a week. It was bleak, cold and not as much fun as it sounds.

All my dreams have died and are impossible to achieve because I never ended up being tall enough for any of them (love, romance, children, social respect, power, strength, etc.) So I don't have dreams anymore; they're not meant for me.

I want to live on a homestead where everything that I eat not only was grown by me but also comes from plant varieties that I bred myself.

So do I. It will probably take 50 years to achieve. A friend of mine has worked with maize, and breeding his own variety of that took him 40 years by itself.

What is the subject of the book

A novel -- love story -- in which the protagonist has spent 40 of his 48 years loving a woman who doesn't love him back. Until during a chance meeting in the present, she recognizes she does, in fact, love him. Despite her realization of that, he has recently found another woman and come to the realization that humans can really love more than one person. Now he has a choice.

I hate unhappy ending books. Life is full of negative emotions enough, books should at least end with happy endings.
