Guys, UHHH Crushes?

SOOO there's this guy who I like (like A LOT) and so last week I wrote him this poem and letter and well he said no only because I'm in 9th grade and he's in 10th. But today I made eye contact with him for the first time since and TBH I wanna buy him something for Valentines but I don't wanna go through that. Should I?

Coming to this question a day late and a dollar short. I agree: don't buy him anything. It sucks, but it'll save you some awkwardness. I think you're awesome that you wrote him the poem and the letter and good on him for seemingly responding to you in a clear and direct way. That's mature of both of you.

And, your feeling of wanting to get him something is totally valid. So, channel that into something for your mom or little sister or, actually, for yourself. :)
