Do you think not being good at taking pics / not looking good on pics is like a disability nowadays?

Some people are camera shy, don't know how to take good pics, or just look weird / different on pics no matter what they do... Do you think it's a big disadvantage considering the time we live in... Everyone is posting their stuff on social media.. taking pics / vids on the fly when they want to capture the moment... Having an actual decent online dating account! Lmao... I mean, it seems like a big disadvantage.. Right? I've seen people who look waaay better in person and I've seen people who are the opposite and the pics helped them very much...

When the rest of the group start taking pics and you're sitting at the corner wondering what the hell is wrong with you!

There's two problems, the first is a photo converts your face from a 3d object into a 2d one. This changes the way you look, some look better but most look worse.
The other is the lens on your phone isn't the best for portraits.
I think a lot of people who struggle with good dating pic would benefit from getting it done professionally.

Only if you are into online dating. I photograph horribly. Not that I'm all that anyway, but I look far worse in pics than in person.
