Most of that is California slang and was never widespread. Tubular and Gnarly are definitely California slang. Even in California most of the terms were not widespread.

From the round graphic, the only one I used a lot was "big time." I still say it sometimes. I said "Get real" or "For real" sometimes.

Half the "Personals" in the chart have been around forever and are still common.
For "Actions" I still say "rock" and "veg". In the past I said "Book" sometimes.

A girl I knew in HS and her friends called themselves rad. So that is one I am familiar with. However I would not say we were close, the girl made fun of an autistic guy and I actually had a shouting match w her in front of a bunch of kids, I remember saying "you may be rad but you are not kind". That was prob. my biggest "fight" in HS actually.
