Why are you guys so anti-dictators? Imagine if America was a dictatorship. You could let 1% of the people have all the nation's wealth. You could help your rich friends get richer by cutting their taxes. And bailing them out when they gamble and lose. You could ignore the needs of the poor for health care and education. Your media would appear free, but would secretly be controlled by one person and his family. You could wiretap phones. You could torture foreign prisoners. You could have rigged elections. You could lie about why you go to war. You could fill your prisons with one particular racial group, and no one would complain. You could use the media to scare the people into supporting policies that are against their interests.

There's pros and cons to both.
There's something wonderful about having grown up in one place and having the same house and friends and schools, etc.
But there's also something wonderful about moving. New homes, new friends, new adventures.
Life with a little bit of both is good. Being in the Navy, my oldest son had too much of the moving. 7 moves in 13 years.
Me personally, I only have one more move in me.
I moved around a lot as a kid. It was nice to see different places, but it was hard to always be the new kid in schools. And it was always awkward. That said I enjoyed it and it helped me learn the skills to be more independent from my parents. Living in one place your whole life would mean you have a secure friend group and know your roots but for some they may be less likely or willing to stray away from what they know.
I’ve been to too many homes all my life. But I miss my childhood home tho

I've got no preference for this... if at certain time u need to change the house then yea dont think because ure born here or have memories so u won't be able to leave
It's normal to move around a bit before settling down when you get a bit older.
Multiple places globally…. Mostly same general area USA though…. until 17 etc.
In the past, I had moved a LOT, but I hate moving. On average now, I move about every 10 years. Currently, Im living at my home for about 7 years now. I think I would prefer to live in one place.
I've lived in the same home since I was four. I can see living here till the end.
Live in multiple. Though I like to conduct full fledged experiment
I lived in different countries and different places...
Why not both... 🤔
