Thoughts: As a single person would you live in the suburbs, country or city?

I'm single, and currently live in the suburban area, or "Mayberry" as I call it: small, friendly town where dating is nonexistent.
Most people my age moved to larger cities or out of state where the economy and dating is better.
Is it quiet and safe? Absolutely. Is dating bad? Very. I'd basically have to move or do online dating to find someone 😕
So it depends on your goals more than anything: I'm not saying dating is impossible in smaller towns, just... harder. If your goal is dating and social scenes, you're better off moving to a larger city, OR moving slightly outside city limits, and commuting to a nearby city.
Just do your research on nearby cities, social life, and most importantly, crime rates, before moving anywhere.
The city has more people for you to meet but more crime and bums. The suburbs is really the best of both worlds. Don't live in rural areas if you don't like guns, because they are a necessity there for wild animals or bad people. The neighbors and the cops are too far away to save you, you have to save yourself.
I've done burbs and City , both were good different in their own ways I guess , more action in town , both were good , voted burbs bcoz I've done far more of that.

Suburbs is the compromise living location, and why most people live there. The busy city is close by, yet so is the calmer country.
I grew up in the suburbs so I will stay with that.
Tried all 3, totally done with city life. Small town or country for me
Single, city. Once married move into the Suburban but right near the city.
Country for life.
Why?
I was raised in a big city, and moved to the country a couple of years ago.
I do not like the city it's too crowded, attracts crime and overwhelming
I agree, not much crime living in smaller cities.
City
