He only follows me when Imgo into the kitchen. Its not about not having food but not wanting to eat alone.
When I work he often jumps up to me and sitsjor lays in my lap. When sitting elsewhere on the couch foor excample he has his own place between us or at the other side of the couch.

Yes, he's like my shadow. He'll walk between my feet, sit in my lap, perch on my hip when I'm laying down. I don't mind, he's warm and cozy. 🙂

Nope. Only when he wants food or to be let out he would follow us. And jump on or near you only on the sofa.
