I've been focusing on the house. I renovated the bathroom over the winter, it turned out great.

Next is the backyard. I have eight slabs of limestone (about 15-16 ft by 12 ft wide) block being delivered to the house next week to landscape the backyard. Five large pieces are being installed in a mosaic flush with the ground surface and the last two are being positioned/piled next to what will be a pond in the center of the limestone slabs that are in the ground. I rented a backhoe next weekend and intend on digging the pond area next to the piled limestone slabs. I will install a pond liner and then fill with round granite (pink and black) stone from Lake Superior. The idea is to create a waterfall that cascades down the sides of the piled slab limestone into the pond. I also have underwater lights for the pond and I plan on getting some large water-lilies and floating them. This will all be horseshoed around my existing BBQ and deck area. Hoping the pond will attract frogs etc., to it.

A friend of mine is giving me his old barn board posts. I am going to use the beam/posts to make a large pergola for a sitting area and install low level lighting on the barn board pergola. I am going to use one of the beams as a mantle when I install a new outdoor stone fireplace atop the newly installed limestone slab base.

Then my backyard will be done.😊

Our food went up 10% all of last year. It has gone up about 22% in just the first month plus one week, this year!
And don't even get me started about re-doing our bathroom.
We DID luck out in Jan 2020 when we bought appliances for our kitchen re-do. The week after our order, the Wuhan-flu hit. But the store - ABT- help to their price, even though we had to put the order tentative "hold" because the contractor was having staffing problems. But 14 months later, it was done, with current appliances being more cheaply made, and more highly priced!

Food as it's expensive to go grocery shopping though I been spending more money on basic stuff. Gaming, I bought a Dell G15 laptop for $600 last year and it's cool though honestly should have just waited for this years models though I always wanted a laptop for gaming so why not? It was normally $800 so getting it for $200 less was amazing plus it's fast and small though the battery life sucks.
