It should be Easy to Get to Level2. After Level4, I Think, It is Mor eof a Challenge. Back Then, It took me a Year to Get to Guru and 2 More Years to Reach master. Then One day I got Influencer. Log in everyday and post opinions on different topics. For every opinion you get 1 Xper point and if you are the first person to be posting on one question then you will get 2 points.

In order to get to Xper 2 you need to get 150 points.

Level 2 will allow you to do more things on GAG. To get there, you need to get more Xper points, and you do that by posting thoughtful, interesting questions, and making opinions to others' questions and polls.

OK, noone NEEDS to be level 2. Why you're posting about why you need to be at level 2, I don't know but, the best way to do it, is to just ask and answer questions. That's how this site works.
