How self-confidence can be built up?

Real simple look at the people around you who love you. That ain't and accident. It's because you mean something to them. Those people are proof that you matter. Now you know! Now anytime anyone (a stranger, an acquaintance) tells you otherwise. Think about how well your family and friends know you vs. This person who really doesn't. Now why would you give this person words any weight?

Self confidence starts from within. But the evidence that you matter is all around you. You just have to take the time and make the effort to see it.

With small wins and overcoming failure.

The biggest thing to kill confidence is when you give up on things. Especially giving up too soon.

A win could be as simple as putting together a better outfit than yesterday, nailing that job interview, getting someone's phone number, using coupons at the supermarket for a surprisingly large discount.

Just know that your confidence won't all come at once or overnight. It happens slowly by working towards it.

1) fake the confidence

2) have the results to justify the confidence

3) just don't give a shit about what others think regardless if they're offended or not

Master something, it builds confidence. Also, get control of the key components of your life as best you can, the key words “as best you can”. Such as finances.
