Weakness to me can mean a moment of weakness where you let something happen that you instantly regret or it can be a full blown character flaw.

Weakness is relative, it simply means that something is less strong than something else. E. g. if you're physically weak it means you're less strong than the norm. If you have a weak character, it means you have less strength of character than the norm. Etc.
