Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not?

I sort of do but I sort of don't. My aunt said she was gonna haunt me if I didn't care of this house and, although I AM taking care of it, it's not kept up the way she'd like it and I still haven't seen her after 28 months. However, the day after dad died, I was sitting all alone in my kitchen cooking hamburgers, it was an hour or two past midnight and, as I sat there in the kitchen, I could heard dad jokingly yell, "Get me the hell out of here!!" It was very faint, off in the distance. I sat very quietly and listened again and, once again, he yelled, "Get me the hell out of here!!". From what I understand, it was because of the white noise in the room (my burgers sizzling) that I was able to hear him.
My ex-fiance said she saw a little girl in her house, once, who looked like she was from the 1800's. Where she stood, there was no way for her to go anywhere but out the front door, which is where my girlfriend went but, only for a second until, she remembered that she forgot something, turned back around and went back in to get it and the girl was gone!! There were 4 apartments in the house, my girlfriend had the entire first floor to herself On the 2nd floor was a young couple and a crazy cat lady and up on the third floor were two young women.
At my ex-sister's house, 2 miles from here, there's been all sorts of things going on!!
The first time my nephew's girlfriend set foot in the house, she saw her dead grandfather's image in the living room mirror, screamed and ran out of the house, crying!! (Her uncle was the rummer for Wild Cherry).
About 8 years ago, same said nephew called us up at 10:00 at night and told my mother that a ghost just shoved him across the room! He stepped into the kitchen and this woman in a Victorian era dress came up out of the basement, saw him and shoved him clear across the kitchen!!
One of my ex-sisters said she was on her way up to bed and saw a guy that looking like Pres. Lincoln stroll across the floor on the 2nd floor and, where he went,. there was no place to go! The doors on that side were locked but, he just vanished!!
One night, my other ex-sister was spending the night and they both slept in the same bed. There was only one window in the room and it was closed, shuttered and blinded. Not long after they got into bed, a tiny white light appeared on the wall opposite the window! They both watched as it got bigger and bigger!!
One afternoon, the one that lives there came home from work and found my grandmother's rosary bead on the dining room floor... across the room from where they hung on a nail on the door!! She picked them up, took them across the room to the nail and hung them up, again. The next day, they were on the floor, again, across the room!
One night, she and her hubby went to bed for the night. Around 3:00 a. m., the t. v. in the living turned itself on blasting loud!!
Another night, they went to bed and, around 3:00 a. m., the smoke alarms went off!! Her hubby woke up to see what was wrong, found no fire at all but, when he went to shut off the alarms, he found that none of them had any batteries!!
