I don’t want to gender stereotype, but most of the rude users that I have encountered here tend to be guys. I have had two guys randomly responded to my post, just to throw insult or show hostility when the question has nothing to do with them. I am not sure if they have motive, but I suspect we all act certain way for a reason. They probably been stalking us for some time here, eyeing on our responses, questions, and get offended by some of them, then resent us without telling us why. Another reason is some do it because they are threathened by our look. They feel like we give them that stuck up/arrogant kind of vibe. They know if they ever approach us in real life, we will never give them a chance so they lash it out on us and we should “get over ourselves” 🙄

This is the internet. All kinds of crazies. I had a woman message me a question which I answered. Then about a half hr. Later I went to sleep. I wake up the next day and she went off on me because I had "abruptly" ended the conversation. And didn't say anymore. I mean all she did was ask a question. To which I answered she didn't tell me she wanted more. So I apologized for the confusion and messaged her. And then she ignored me. 😆😆😆

Most likely what he thought was that he would get you to play along with his game and you didn’t. And so he got mad and starting saying stuff to make you feel a certain way.
