How many times have you misplaced your car keys?

Long story short, got a new person on my work truck. Persons excuse for showing up late on his first day was, he couldn't find his car keys. How many of you have actually misplaced your keys and then found them in a mysterious place? Where did you find them from where you thought you left them?

If it's not in my view I'd completely forget. Even done that with my glasses.

I have a habit of not hanging my keys somewhere. Half the time my sister thankfully remembers where I set down my keys so she reminds me.

At least he showed up to work on his first day, at least he's not like people at my sis's workplace who called in "sick".

Our company has a strict schedule. The person showed up late today. 2 days in a row. Just shows no interest and he really just sat back and watched my other crew member do all the work yesterday. Not much of a team player in my opinion.

I have two sets--and one of them has my front door ley. I gave my extra keys to my kids an cat sitter... so I need to make more pronto. I used to lose them a lot--but I try to always put them now in my purse, not on my counter.

In my teens I called in sick to work and went to my friends place while pretending to goto work. I was driving my parents car. As I swung the door closed the keys hit the door and flung inside. The doors locked on me.

Twice so far. I got to my destination on time. It's hard when you displace something because you need to look where you usually don't look.
