Definitely the future I was going to see where we are being led where we're being taken if all our government's ideas are good or if they're just for greed and themselves I would also like to see if one politician out of 5 70 something whatever it is ever dares to stand up and be great no it's not Trump trump had an opportunity Trump screwed the pooch and himself just like I knew he would but somebody has to do it and we don't need any more cons we don't need anybody else to keep holding the path as screen the little people the ones that keep this planet alive and functioning I like to see where we're headed and then come back and say look this is where we're going we either change it now or forever hold your peace
To the past... Not too far in the past, but just far enough that I could make some investments, and enjoy America before it went insane with trannies, suicide, feminism, a witch hunt for an orange man, vegans, and flat earthers. I miss the good old days when I was a badass for having all the Metallica tape cassettes. Rap was still considered gay and NWA hadn't shown up yet.

The money I'd make and knowing what I'd die before seeing again would be enough to make me happy.
To the future, because I'd want to get past the difficult time the human race is going through right now, and I already know about what happened in the past (and it was pretty awful compared to today). The main character in the film (and book upon which it's based) 'The Time Machine' heads off beyond the year A. D. 800,000, and I think that would be far enough for me to get past all the silliness and madness of the 21st century.
Past. Definitely somewhere in between 60's to 90's. Or anytime in that period. Yeah I know there was a lot of shit happening, but look at the world now. My parents and grandparents say how good it was, it was a different time.
Omg think of the fashion, the food, the music! Would have loved to seen Queen preform live at Band Aid. There are just so much we missed out on :(

Past, the future thus is in my control.
I'd probably go back in he past and tell myself I got to a time machine and not to worry, then fly away...
If you want evidence there is no time travel to the past ability, then that is it... noone has ever come back, other than maybe a few reports... saying they had a time machine.
To the past in order to be the underage girlfriend of younger Henry Cavill. I would go back to 2009.

The future scares the shit out of me. I know I will hit my dream, it will take hard work but that's also something I gotta work on. What if... i jump to the future and see the worst thing of all? I'm living like my mom and my dream is in dust?
Sooo I would go back a few years, like 2016 or so? Get my dumbass to realize who we really are, invest in the stockmarket earlier, and take care of the car.
I doubt time travel in the future makes any logical sense. I would move back in the 1980ies, exploit the financial knowledge i have to make lot of money. Then I would watch Miami Vice in TV, eat a tasty blue fin tuna steak and drink best champagne on my private 100m yacht in haven of Monaco, while thinking this is the apogee of human civilization
Past. I don’t wanna know the future so that I’ll be anxious about it. But I’ll just travel back to the past to just travel but I would redo anything
To the past
To tell my younger self that everything will be better
Drive it back to the 1920s when everything was perfect, and my life would've been nice and short, and filled with sweet, sweet freedom
Do we get to change things in the past? Do we get to come back from the future?
Probably the future anyway - if nothing else I just want to see what happened.
It is tempting to mess with history though.
I'd set the emergency brake and step out to live in the here and now.
Visiting the past would probably be emotionally overwhelming to me, and I'd be completely unprepared to deal with the future.
Here and now is about my speed.
I know everyone says not to dwell on the past, but I do. If I could go back in the past I would change so many things. Apologize to people before it’s too late. Not be a certain way during a certain time. So many regrets could be erased.
Future, because I'd like to see where my life will be, even tho I got many regrets I wouldn't change my past cause it's what build my character and made me who I am, changing something can change me completely and I wouldn't want that.
I'd go to the past and see if I can get my past self to improve on things, so I'd be better off in the future.
The past.
What a time to be alive!
I would definitely go to the future. To see how my life turned out and if I managed to make my dreams come true.
Oh…I’d fix so much stuff!
I would go to the past so I could castrate the guy before he had a chance to rape me.
You were raped?
If I go back, my past becomes my future.
If I go forward, my future is my past.
I'll get lost.
I think I'll just test drive a few circles and then get back to my beers.
I wanna know if these time capsules that @Beamazed YT channel mentioned are gonna get opened and what will the people think of it
Id go to the past and see how the pyramids were built
I’d do a lot more ultra careful planning first if I actually got one, but my current plan is basically to get everything I could need from the future and live mostly silently in the past in my family’s secret utopia.
If I went into the past, there's a risk I might change things and create a new timeline, which could be bad. Let's go forward in time.
Future, I would want to find out who I'm gonna marry and how many kids I'll have
Past. Got to do things better, and relive revenge episodes one more time for good old times sake!
to the future past... let's go!!!
I'd go into the future. I'd find out what winning numbers were picked on certain days. Then I'd play those numbers. With some of my winnings I'd help less fortunate people
To the future. And I'd like to use it for about 8 hours right before I go into work..
The time machine can't take us to the past or the future because the past has passed, the future is the future, because this is the day, we stay on this day, so we need to evaluate these days well
I guess your answer would depend on what you choose to believe regarding the physics of time and matter and interdimensionality!
I guess visiting the future won't mess up the past, whereas visiting the past could wipe out you and the present!
Both.
I wouldn't mind seeing what the future holds but there's definitely some shit in my past that needs to be rectified!!
There are some wrongs in the past I'd like to right.
Go to the past and change a few things in my life.
If you go too far into the future. The human race might have destroyed itself. You included!
To the past if I can transfer all my knowledge and memories to my younger self.
To the future if the technology can finally transfer all my knowledge and memories to my younger self.
I would go in the future as if I go in the past and do something that changes the past it will affect the present and the future as well, so I prefer going in the future.
Great question!
Future. We already know what happened in the past.
Can I travel back again? If so the future, learn somethings and then return and start betting
Future. Write down lottery numbers. Return.
Based on the direction the world has been heading in my lifetime the future is probably awful, probably some Mad Max or Black Mirror type stuff.
I’d do some back to the future shit and get me one of those sports books that shore all the scores and stuff and then go back to my timeline and start betting!
I'd choose the past because I think it would be fun to relive the day I met my best friend
a sort of side ways. roughly an alternate present time.
I'd go into the past and buy stock and IBM. Then invest in do a major investment in Microsoft.
Past. I know it is there, and can buy stocks, etc. on the cheap knowing where they will go.
The future would have new viral strains that I might not survive. Although we don’t have a vax for the plague…lol
It depends on whether you will come back with the same experience or not? If it is with current experiences, it is definitely past. If not, the future is the best choice.
the past to correct some mistakes I made if possible.
The future get an sports almanac and a lotto number the big one before a person hits the big one.
To the past. I would go back in time. For sure
Does knowing the future change the future? I would like to know the lottery numbers….
To the future, get some body work done, zip back to the present.
Why does this question have to be in Black and white?
To the past so I can undo a lot of things.
The past which would then change my future
the future because i'm tired of waiting.
Past seems a little safer 😐🤫
The past, the future sucks
Neither, because time travel is impossible.
I would go to the past. 1996, please!!
to past to invest in giant companies lol
The past to figure out my complexes…
To future. Not past. Past was very stressful.
