Time machine: Would you go to the past or the future?

There are a lot of time loops or time machine movies and hence this question. In the off chance that a time machine existed, where would you go, past or future? And why?

I pick the past. I don't wanna know what my future holds. I already know what the past is, so if I am armed with that information, and what I know now, I could end up being one very rich person.
