Do scratches matter on ps2 discs?

Oh I remember the days trying to keep them from getting dust even let alone messy hands from eating. Hopefully the scratch hasn't ruined the disc, yikes 😬

Yes, when the scratches are deep enough or too many, the game won't run anymore, or it will bug out at a certain point, as the data can't be read.

Depends on how bad they are. If there are a few light scratches, the game will still run.

yes. all CDs, DVDs, blue-ray, etc it matters if they gave scratches on them.

I think jam and general gloop is a bigger problem than scratches.

Yeah there are quite a bit of them some smaller and other bigger on the ps2 disc
