what do you think about people who share their problem/concern with you , but when u try to give them problem solution , they will shut u down
they basically just want u to listen to them , and agree with everything they said
Honestly I can’t stand it, and here’s why, because after a while accepting listening to it without my input gets rather annoying. It’s a person that closes off other peoples opinions on a situation but complains when they are continuously still in a ridiculous situation. Yesterday I heard a wonderful quote from my co worker and it goes “if you aren’t looking for a solution, shut the hell up” . Big eye opening quote because it’s truthful.
Aka no one wants to listen to pointless complaining.
Those people simply don’t want an answer to their solution, because then it would be over and they probably enjoy the drama deep down inside. It’s one thing if the advice is bad and they just don’t wanna be rude, but I don’t know anyone who is genuinely seeking (and receiving) good advice and doesn’t utilize it. Only complainers treat people like walls to bounce their issues off of.
if they are friend , i will usually try to bear with it , but when they start to rambling same thing over and over again , i will have to make excuse to leave.
Its okay, But they should mention that at least once

The way I see it, solutions are as diverse as trees and your solution might not be their best option because they have many others equally able to give them a different and contradictory solution.
