Do you believe the world is becoming a lot more toxic?

This may be biased from the things I see around and online, but I think there's a huge gap in the last 5 years between how nice people are to each other and strangers.
My examples are:
- Online gaming and chat rooms, people are way more toxic to each other, bullying and giving abuse when we are trying to play a game and have fun
- Relationships and dating, self explanatory

in a sence yes, its like bad values have started to rule more. Lets see:

hookup culture - like we dont have emotions and are robots that only need food and sex

Cancel culture - like brrr this shit like everyone has to be perfect and noone can make a mistake or change or be granted second chance or forgivness

Promotion of selfishness: i dont need anyone, i only need to love myself, like self love can replace romantic or friends and family love?

Fakenes and shaming od problems/weaknesses: everyone trying to show off how well they live while they hide everything bad in their life like it doesn't exsist, presenting it on social media but than have to keep pretense in rl; people also tend to not talk about their problems cause others shame them

The hookup thing really has taken off. I've never done it but it's mad the number who would choose a random hookup over trying to have a partner.

I am fine with people having hookups if they are that type of person but it has gotten to the point that if you are wanting something serious you are being shames. Sure, dont shame slutty people, im not about it, but they can do whatever the f they want, but then also dont same people that are looking for deep serious connections.

no, im not that pesimistic, if you are relationship type you can't really change that and at the end of the day some slutty people want to settle down with family and kids at some point. Problem is that people dont want to be shamed admitting they are relationship type

My world is no more toxic because I don't waste my time with online gaming or chat rooms. Of course GaG is somewhat toxic but that hasn't got any worse recently. The toxicity usually ramps up right around the US elections.

Based on media and certain countries. I live in the most based, but live and work around pretty decent people. Actually have for awhile. Toxic for me was from the late 90's to like 2008.
