Is it weird to follow someone on Instagram in this scenario?

So I met this guy in public and he seemed kinda flirty but I got nervous and didn’t really reciprocate. So I only met him once and I found his Instagram and I want to follow him but I don't know if that’s weird or not because I literally only met him ONCE and we have no mutual friends..

You’ve got to act within your comfort levels. Personally I wouldn’t add him, and mostly because of the nature of how it all went down. Like it’s one thing if I met him at a party, out with friends or just circumstances that would connect us a bit more. So if I just randomly met him out in public one day, I’d worry about how the follow would look to him. Like would he wonder how I got his first and last name? Or how much digging I did to find him? Will he even be available and if not then that’s why he didn’t ask for my information when we met? I’m an overthinker though lol so if you’re not then go for it. Maybe he’ll think it’s some cutesy romantic stuff or something.
