Would it be creepy if I randomly followed my crush on Instagram?

I used to work with this really cute guy and I devoloped a crush on him in a small amount of time and I've been wanting to hang out with him but I got fired a month ago so I couldn't really like tell him how I felt, and I still want to so I thought I'd follow him on Instagram but I don't know that'd be creepy... He follows everyone he knows, including my friend so I'm not sure if he'd follow me back, I'd feel like a creep if he didn't..

It's Not Creepy Seeing as How Instagram is a totally Public Social Media Site, So even if he doesn't Follow you Back, so No In a sense a site where everyone care randomly follow anyone I don't think it's creepy (:
