Contractor for my home. I'm not a violent person and this guy had me one second from grabbing a bat and breaking his legs. I do not say this to be the tough guy machine whatever. It's unfortunately true and I'm not proud of it regardless of how bad he was.
He was so bad that he kept saying he wasn't going to do things as promised because it didn't need to be done and that's what I paid for. That's the easiest way to put it without deep diving into specifics which would only make my case even more.
I stayed calm for days and nicely said this is what I paid for this is what I expect. He kept sayin (g it didn't matter. I had to say of I'm asking and paid you to complete this task and that's the money I gave you (half up front he still expected other half for half the work) then you gotta do it.
He was an ass and last day said he was done when it wasn't so I went outside and almost pulled grabbed him by the collar. I caught myself but I def scared him because I started to walk very fast towards him.
I stopped and I said I'm at my wits end with you. Get your ass back over there and finish the job or I'm not paying you the other half because you didn't do the other half.
He said in a normal tone which sent me over the edge... You owe me blank.
I said get off of my property before you can't physically drive yourself home anymore. He literally ran lol. I was embarrassed afterwards. I left him a message and said I need to talk over the phone and let's remain calm.
It took him way too long and all my patience to get him to admit when you say you're going to do something (within reason and rare exception) you do it and then get paid the full amount AGREED on lol. It took forever and he apologized. He seemed to really think it wasn't a big deal that the other half of my deck that I wanted rebuilt, that we negotiated for in the price, didn't need to be built. So I had half the deck I wanted for the price of a full deck lol.
I think he was a moron although he did a good job on the deck he did build to be fair. I had to get another contractor who knew the guy and couldn't stop laughing. He called his wife who apparently knew him puts her on speaker to tell her and she's like what an asshole and she's laughing lol.
It worked out fine. Lol
Tough guy macho guy * not machine lol
I would not pay him until he finished what he promised. But then they can put a lien on your home. Sometimes you can't win.
@DubiousIntentions Yeah that's true. It's custom here to pay half up front which I did. He then wanted the other half even though he did half the job lol. He was a moron. Technically I did pay him for what he did. I wasn't paying the rest for him to leave it undone. I had a written estimate that was so clear as day so I wasn't worried.
Popeyes, too slow and rude

Having worked in retail and customer service before, my expectations are usually pretty low. The worst I've gotten is just fast food places taking a very long time to get my order done.
My cable company and Walmart have the worst customer service.
If the cable company has a monopoly in your area they are even worse. You don't like our service, go someplace else. Oh, that's right, you can't! hee hee
That's how it is with me too. We don't have any options.
It's true by the way.
He has dressed it up a little bit in this version but I received the letters that he is talking about and it is very much in that style and my reaction was to vow never to give business to the AA again as long as i live.
Walmart. The only arguments I've ever been in with service workers were the fucks that work at Walmart.
The VA and the DMV. It seems like they hire people who don’t gaf about helping anyone.
I know how to relate to people so that they are comfortable with me... it helps a lot.
At Walmart but can't remember what it was.
