What’s something funny that happened to you today?

I am probe to fun accidents, there’s always something funny happening to me. I think it’s because I am impulsive and spontaneous.

So, as you know I am moving about 50 km away in a new apartment. I speak some Chinese but I am not good at reading Chinese characters, so today I have decided to reserve a transport to move my belongings just some bags of clothes and some books, that’s all I’ve got here, seems like I read something incorrectly and after I paid for the car, I found out I rented a huge trailer.

I now feel awkward to put there only some bags of clothes.

I don’t know why but I can’t stop laughing to imagine the surprise on the driver’s face tomorrow. 🤣 Sadly, I can’t cancel the order.

But it’s okay, it’s not too expensive.

I just went downstairs, gave away one of my tiara, eye masks and necklace to a shopkeeper girl, some books to the young concierge boy and a feather pen set to a shopkeeper guy who has always been gifting me some candies.

My 10k today was an out-and-back. About 1km after the turnaround I saw a couple sitting on a bench about.75km away. Big dog and a little wiener dog. Wiener dog was trying to carry a branch that fell out of the tree from the storm last night. The branch was larger around than the dog, but that didn't stop him and the whole time I was approaching I was watching him tug relentlessly. When I got up to them I saw that there were little ruts in the ground where his paws where because the ground was muddy. I'd be surprised if that branch weighted less than 80lbs but that little guy was determined. Gotta admire that :)

I move my own stuff when I relocate. Nowadays, I rent a trailer and hitch it to my truck. One of the benefits of having a diesel hog.

Before I had my own pickup, one thing I thought when I rented a moving truck was they didn't test me or ask me to run a course or anything. The primer lasted a few seconds, they handed me the keys, and said "her you go". Like you're just going to hand me this 50' truck and not see if I can maneuver it properly? Well, whatever. Tally-ho.
