Yes. I sorta have a photographic memory my husband said.
especially when it comes to directions. I can go to one place and remember how to get back.
throughout our travels…we challenge others which way back…I always remember.

another memory l my family and I had a discussion few weeks back…
i recalled a shopping center to the exact location of each item. Say…this was were they had the olive stand, turn right was the snack stand…etc…my older sister couldn’t recall. My older brother remembered…he was around 16 when we left our country. I was less than 10 years old.
mostly I think everyone is like me…but I learned…they are not.
however…if you ask me what i read in a boring book…I couldn’t tell you. Was not a good student.

I’m TERRIBLE at remembering things. But I’m not a bad person lol. So I’ll make an effort to remember important dates like birthdays, graduations etc. I’ll write it down if I need to.

Short-term I am not, although long-term I have a very good memory. It's not photographic, but things to do with people, stuff said, something I did, or interests me. For example, I remember things from when I was 1 - 2 years old quite vividly, yet I can't remember what math I learned in high school, lmao.

Nope.
I attribute the causes for that decline to having had COVID badly three times, and to my age, I guess.
The worst, sharpest declines came after COVID.
