When was the most recent time, someone stopped what they were doing, to help you?

Last night, I was outside trying to break something... a neighbor heard and looked and I explained why. So we talked a bit about it then, she said, she'll be over.

Hmm, fairly often! The last time was at work I'm sure- that's usually where I interact with people at.

But I'm also from the South so typically most people around here are polite, well mannered, and help people even without asking, because it's how most of us were raised.

A few weeks ago a woman helped me reach something I couldn't from the shelves in a groceries store.

I didn't even ask, she offered because she saw me struggling.

o love that, we didn't even ask... just doing what we are doing, someone notices and comes to help

Yeah, that's so nice of them! There was also a time when a girl helped me get through a door by holding it. I had my bike with me so it was difficult alone as the door was heavy. And she didn't even have to go that way herself, she was just passing through. ^^

that reminds me of end of last year, trying to push a heeavyy shopping cart while i was leaving to go outside, 'outta no where' some woman in a quick second' comes running towards me, puts her hands on the cart all at the same time saying, oh hunny... let me help you this thing is too heavy!,

I always pull over on the hwy to help someone. I always have a big floor jack, carry tools, jumper cables and a tow chain

Usually people interrupt me when I'm doing something to ask me questions and learn things from me. They don't tend to help, they just act as a distraction.

I have recently changed doctors. The new doc has the best office staff. They answer the phone in person , never put you on hold and even when I tell them not to, they drop everything to try and help me.
