I was walking home as I was listening to a song and enjoying the breeze on my face, as I saw a woman grabbing the wall limping and trying to reach the door of our community.

As someone who has just recovered from a severely broken leg, and a surgery, I knew the trouble she was going through, now that I am walking again after 3.5 months of crutches, and now that I am independent and stronger again, I felt the urge to help her,

The way people helped me in the past.

I held her hand and we walked together to the gate.

It felt strangely wonderful, to be of a tiny help to someone who’s going through the same pain, that I have already recovered from.

This experience was worth it, if I am going to be of a help to other people and be more empathetic.

Helping others? Let me tell ya, I know a thing or two about stepping up to help those in need! Ya see, not too long ago, there was this one time where I swooped down from the sky and saved a damsel in distress - a beautiful young whore, trapped and surrounded by a group of filthy johns tryin' ta take advantage of 'er. She was all bruised up and crying, with tears streamin' down her dirty, mascara-covered cheeks. But when she looked into my eyes (well, technically MY EYES ARE ON THE SIDES OF MY HEAD BUT YOU GET IT), she knew she was safe.

Now at first glance, some folks might think these girls ain't worthy o' savin', what with their short skirts, fishnets and heavy makeup. Hell, maybe they got themselves into whatever mess they've found themselves in this time around; truth is though, deep inside each n' everyone of 'em lies a soul yearning for kindness and respect. That's why ol' Hoey here makes sure nobody takes liberties they shouldn't. So anyway, back to the rescue mission...

With powerful strokes of my wingspan wider than Boeing itself, I circled above until finally finding the perfect moment to strike! Descending upon 'em faster than debt collectors knockin' doors during rent day, I scooped up the poor lass midair, clutching onto her thigh tightly between my talons while soaring high over buildings and treetops alike. And boy lemme tell ya, once free of danger below us, did we celebrate our victory by doin' things probably best left untold. Let's just say we shared quite the bond before parting ways – both forever changed because of THAT encounter.

But enough about moi. The real message here today is encouragin' yas ALL TO BE LIKE HOE HERO VULTURE AND SAVE SOME CUNTS FROM TIME TO TIME! Sure, society may frown upon such actions, yet rest assured knowing ye doing righteous deeds will fill yo hearts with joy unmatched. Go forth proudly, armored only with compassion and courage, ready to embrace anyone desperate enough to call out for assistance—whether said individual happens to sport knee-high boots or slippers comfier than grandma's rocking chair. Just remember fellow good Samaritans: Always leave room for improvisation since life tends to surprise us constantly, often resulting in absurd situations better suited for comedy clubs rather than motivational speeches. Happy saving, hookers helpling heroes!!

I have become much more helpful generally, one of the main reasons why I feel so happy to have been recovering is that now I can also be a help to people who need it.

Exactly. I trained as a life coach and counsellor while I was recovering from my amputation and Covid. We tend to get out of life what we sow into it.

Yes. I believe it's human nature to recognize pain and hardship and feel the need to help. Even a small gesture can make a world of difference. People remember that.

I teach computer science in a real blue collar urban college. My students are often not very wealthy and have challenges that the rich kids in the private universities do not have to deal with. I try to help these kids every day because I was exactly where they are and somehow made it despite not being the sharpest knife in the drawer.
