Ever dealt with someone who's totally different in person vs through email?

this isn't a person i'm trying to date or anything like that. meet her through business reasons , not necessary work but had to talk to her cause of the office she works at and she was suppose to help me with some things i was in need of assistance with

but its totally weird in person she's very motivated and talks to me with ideas that seemed helpful and practical.

but then i don't hear anything from her for days and the emails i do get aren't much use and don't seem to offer up anything at all. she also cancelled our next scheduled meeting for no apparently reason and offered to meet next week.

so getting lost as to whats going on here and what i could try and do about this

People normally don't talk and write the same way, I also write way more formally, specially if it work related like you said. It's completely normal, and you shouldn't do anything, I doesn't have anything to do with you, why bother?

i guess but it just doesn't seem like she cares when reading her emails , in person seems more genuine but yet to see any results from any of this

our conversations have been purely professional , this isn't a dating situation , but a professional work related encounter , she keeps delaying things , this should of been done weeks ago

they just don't seem to care , they keep delaying things , i honestly felt they genuinely wanted to help me with this problem but now left wondering what if anything they plan to do
