Us Limeys like to joke about America having no culture but it's not entirely true. You have to remember that the US is a very young nation so its culture is still in its infancy, but it is there nonetheless. For example the US is the only country that has turkey at Thanksgiving instead of Christmas. It's the only nation founded with a fully operational Constitution on day one. It has landmarks like the Empire State Building, Sears Building (I know it's not called that any more), Statue of Liberty and Golden Gate Bridge. It has racism on a level most countries can only dream about. If that's not culture then I don't know what is?

I see this type of question as extremely woke, Ms Anon. American culture is pervasive around the world in many ways such as our slang, music, movies of course, fashions, and our trends ripple through the world.

For more at home culture, its College Football, Cheerleaders, eating hotdogs and hamburgers on a grill for the 4th of July with the associated fireworks, its Thanksgiving which is a huge travel day by world standards, its watching the ball drop in Times Square on TV, its Disney, its Halloween which has been taken to stratospheric levels in the US and spills over the world, its social media platforms and usage, its emojis, its a common language with unique slang.

Go to other countries and you will find American culture there as well. You might find influence from others cultures but you will always find American culture.

Communication equipment and world powers have changed dramatically since then. You can identify as American culturaly. All those countries you mention have different cultural ethnicities. Italy for instance is a younger country than America and the culture differs from city to city like naples, Florence, Rome, Milan etc. Germany too is younger than America they differ from state to state like hanover, bavaria, Prussia, saxony etc. China and Russia are very diverse countries ethnically and culturally.

Most Americans have lived in a country that is responsible for many innovations and the attitude that America can do anything.
