What are YOUR tips for getting rid of fleas?

Got any good tips? I got a bit of a flea problem in our place. i tried these bug bomb things and already gave my cat a flea bath. yet still some fleas still remain.

Does your cat go. outside and you own your property? If yes. Google "beneficial nematodes" order some and use a tank sprayer to apply to lawn. They feed on insects in your lawn and this will not harm humans or pets.

Apply borax to your carpets. Allow to. sit a day, then vacuum. This will. dehydrate and kill. fleas.

Take a plate. Add water and dish detergent mix. Place a lit candle in the plate. Fleas will. be attracted to the heat, fall. to the water and drown. The dish detergent breaks the surface tension of the water, so the fleas don't bounce off.

When fleas showed up in my house one time, I put salt all on my carpet to kill the flea larvae. Didn't have any problems after that. But no idea if my mother put anything down around the house though.

I flea treat my cat with the tube treatment to the back of her neck, and if that doesn’t get rid of them, I flea bomb the house.

I would contact your Lowes, hardware store, etc. they may be able to give you help.

My neighbor gave us a flea infestation many years ago. We bombed the house twice and gave our pets flea baths twice. After that they were all gone
