What type of telling the TIME do you prefer? Analog or Digital?
On my wrist, I like the sophisticated simplicity of a windup watch.
Next to my bed, I've had the same digital for longer than I can remember. I love being able to read the big, red digits in the dark without glasses.
Digital at work and in the "business" parts of the house like the kitchen or bedside table.
Watch is digital during work or working out.
Analog for dress watch and other parts of the house.
I prefer analog clocks on the walls.
On my wrist, digital watch when I'm doing something very physical.
During parties, social gatherings and business meetings, I'd wear an analog dress watch.
Analog mostly. I changed category to “other” before I read your update. GAG must have sexuality on the brain.
Thank you!

I prefer digital time. As a child, I could only tell the time from digital clocks. Digital clocks are progress, and analog clocks are a step in the past. I don't understand why some people prefer analog clocks. Why then don't they choose a water clock or an hourglass.
At home I have digital clocks & at work we has analog clocks & my company switched to digital & those clocks didn’t last so we switch back to analog clocks.
I’m very old school. I have an Apple Watch with an analog face. I kinda like it this way. But all my watches are analog
Analog, it gives a more natural representation of the passing of time. It feels like time and not just a number.
Digital
Kind of reminds me of me making a digital clock with counter ICs and crystal oscillators back in college days !!
It matters not to me. I have both types of time pieces in my home.
I use both - tho in the internet mostly digital.
I mean, digital is easier. I want my children to know and understand analog. Which they do.
When I worked in a K-12 school system we replaced all the analog clocks with digital. The contractor threw all the old analog clocks in a dumpster. In one of the elementary schools a teacher fished a bunch of them out of the dumpster. I guess the teachers wanted to be able to teach little kids to tell time. The teacher just stripped some of the insulation off the wire and plussed them in by just sticking the bare wire into the outlet. When the superintendent found out about this dangerous practice he sent me around to confiscate all the clocks before somebody got electrocuted. There is a picture of me holding up all the clocks. I was holding them by the pigtails like they were a group of ducks I just shot
Lol! That is funny and sad at the same time! Clocks looking like shot ducks!
Digital it shows the Lord’s birthday, and it shows my birthday, and it shows my name on the clock if you turn it upside down and the rest of the families birthdays
25:12:04? I'd be concerned about a 25 hour clock
@purplepoppy The digital clock twice a day shows 12:25 PM and 12:25 AM thats The Lords Birthday December 25 12 is the 12th month it represents December. 25 represents 25th day of the month. December 25 that’s the Lord’s birthday.
Oops forgot Americans do the dates backwards
@purplepoppy
No it’s correct Christmas day is 1225. Even England celebrate Christmas on 1225.
Think I'll do a question on this thanks for idea
@purplepoppy sure be nice
I have another question for you and you might want to make a question on this what’s more important at a military funeral the American flag draped over the coffin or the bullet casings fired from the guns in a salute? If you had a choice to keep one which one would you keep?
There’s an explanation behind this question
The flag would be more representative of his life but the casings would link more to the funeral. I'd want a reminder of his life and not a single day. It seems unfitting to fire a gun at the funeral of someone who was killed by a gun.
@purplepoppy He wasn’t killed by a gun I don’t have the shell casings anymore for some reason they got lost at the airport which I’m very upset about must have been some security guy that went into my suitcase during connecting flights, but I have the flag and I was handed the shells and it was a beautiful military funeral plus I have a memorial honor certificate from the President of the United States in honor of his service
Digital is easier to read. But would have analogue on walls at home
I think I orefer digital but I know how to tell time the old fashioned way.
As long as I am not late for dinner time, I'm good 👍😊
I prefer a ship's time price, aka a 24 hour clock. Analog.
Generally do not care, but I do have an analog wind up watch and that will work even if the grid collapses, so analog for that reason.
Digital so i dont have to guestimate
Most of our clocks are digital
Digital time, 24 hour clock.
Digital
Analog. Reminds me of childhood.
