Telling time... do you prefer the classic analog clock, with hour and minute (and sometimes second) hands, or the modern digital clock, with HH:MM (:SS) numbers?

I have a slight preference for digital, but I'm really fine either way. What matters to me is that the clock has a method of setting itself and maintaining proper time.

Several of my clocks are Internet-connected and get proper time from Internet-based time servers, and several others - including an "analog" clock - get their time from radio broadcasts. In case you are unaware, the government has long had radio towers that broadcast a signal that is synced to an atomic clock, using a very low radio frequency that wraps around terrain and penetrates buildings well, so clocks and other devices (often large industrial equipment, like power stations) can keep their clocks synchronized.

You can buy these clocks at plenty of places, including Amazon, and you just power them up (batteries or a wall plug) and within an hour, they'll have set themselves and will maintain correct power from then on, until the power runs out.
I have the digital one pictured here in my office on the wall - it's helpful for knowing what kind of weather to expect and thus how to dress for work, given that I often work outdoors. It includes a remote temp/humidity sensor that you can put outside so that you can get both indoor and outdoor readings.
I just peek at the sunlight outside and go with that...
I thought analog was when you were bunged up.
I like a nice round clock face, you can visualise time better. None of this 16:48 crap, just once it's nearly 5.
Either one, because I know both. No preference.

Digital where I sleep.
Most quartz clock drives make noises and I dislike it when I want to fall asleep. Otherwise I don't have any preferences
Definitely Analogue... It's so much easier and clearer to see, especially in bright sunlight.
I am quite accustomed to analog clocks but don’t see many of them anymore.
Analogue, because it reflects the true nature of time.
analog, cuz it is the highest precision. But digital has more precision in daily life as it is easier to make
Optical and quantum clocks
I like the digital clocks.
Analong.
