I enjoy some hard copy (when new), but digital is also mess-free,*** and doesn’t affect health! Don’t coexist in a room with silver fishes, paper mites, and live with some type of “bronchitis” from all the dust accumulated in the lungs, from the old, old books, and shelves/ shelving.
For books: Hardcover Books kept in a personal home library.
For videos: VHS/BetaMax and DVD/Blu-Ray with digital backups on a local device incase the physical ones break and I need to restore them.
For games: Cartridge types and CD/DVD/Blu-Ray/UMD with digital ROM backups incase the physical ones break and I need to restore them.
For Music: Lossless audio file types on a local device with uncompresssed backups.
With physical you can watch it anytime you want and there's no ads and you don't have to have a internet connection or worry about the streaming service not having the movie or show you want to watch. Plus if your internet is lagging that can affect the quality of how it looks and sounds so physical media wins hands down
I don't buy actual books anymore since I buy digital formats that I download into my hardware.
I find it more convenient reading 'em on a large pc, iPad, or smart TV screen.
Additionally, I get to conserve spaces in our bookshelves.

I love the touch and smell of books... but I'm not able to own them all... I still have a great collection... but most of new books I buy for my kindle
Physical, it's mine to watch anytime, anywhere I want without the fear of streaming service removing it. Though I enjoy digital when it's available, but it's always nice to have a physical copy.
Agreed.
I tried digital books. Not exactly the same thing.
Too easy for me to get distracted. Plus, I like the satisfaction of holding it in my hand and knowing "this is mine." You don't have that with digital media.
Physical is and always will be far superior in every possible way.
Physical except for reference books - digital is far easier to search.
I also have digitized (under fair use) a lot of movies and series I own just so I can play them on my smart televisions and scroll more easily.
Music, unless it is FLAC or higher, I much prefer physical media.
Physical reference books allow for cross referencing old things with new things to see if the new ones are misinformation or not, and to see how conclusions were reached by tracing back through old discoveries.
If in the united states, you are legally allowed to make a digital backup of your copyrighted physical media for use as a way to restore it if it breaks.
Reading a screen at the beach is ridiculous. Give me a real book!
I like physical copies for the collectable stuff, so I selected that. I prefer digital formats for most of the more generic stuff.
Digital. You have a whole library of books, songs an movies in a little weight. Ideal for traveling
When I'm at home I prefer Physical copies of books, but when I travel I have my whole library as Epubs.
I like both because I love books but I also like tv shows and movies
Digital. I read so many things that's impossible to get it from printed sources.
I like physical but I barely use it, I can't pretend I don't prefer digital
digital... less clutter that way
I'm fully indoctrinated. All digital
I hate to admit it, but I do prefer audiobooks. 🫤
Physical.
I prefer the good old physical media.
1st,
both
