When will the internet troll stop that has been bothering me for 4 years?

A guy from another country I am friends with from online groups on Facebook, I blocked him when I realized that everything he told me about himself was a lie but he still bothers me for 4 years. When I delete my social media accounts or don't reply to his messages he sends messages to my friends and coworkers and creates fake accounts with my photos so I have to reply to his messages. His stalking skills are so good that he finds whatever job I get and finds the employees in that workplace threatening me in this way. I can't report him to the police as he is from another country. I'm really tired of being a victim of a troll please advise me how to get rid of him.

Domestic police forces actually talk to police forces in other countries. That's their daily business in a highly mobile and connected world. And that's without counting designated entities Europol and Interpol, even. So, yes, you should create a paper trail with the police (and be persistent).

Also, depending on your language skills or will to invest money you could also find the necessary contacts for the foreign law enforcement (either by yourself or with the help of a specialized lawyer).

Your best bet is to post a Facebook status to your friends and explain what this creepy guy is doing to you and let Your friends know not to respond to him but to only report him , and you should keep reporting him as well for harassment , eventually he will be permanently blocked and hopefully get the hint to leave you alone

Have you tried filing a police report? I'm not sure if this qualifies as harassment but it does seem like it.

What about reaching out to the social media platform to see if they can possibly remove him from creating further accounts based on IP address? That might not work but worth a try reaching out to them to see if they can assist.
