Am I being trolled or what?

I’ve been seeing posts online about how people have met their partners through activities like run clubs, improv classes, volleyball leagues, etc.

Whenever I sign up for these things either women don’t show, the women there are already in a relationship or married, or I’ll get put on a team/group with a bunch of guys. This has been going on for a year and a half now. Part of me just wants to quit signing up for these things. Lol

The apps don’t work for me and there’s no one my age at my job. I’d love to meet someone in the natural flow of life like the gym or grocery store or doing something I love, but I just don’t.

Does God not want me to find love? I mean well and am doing the right things, but I just can’t find anyone. I feel like I’m being trolled.

Dude I feel your frustration, that is kind of annoying how it never seems to work out meeting someone through those types of activities. Maybe you've just had some bad luck so far.

But don't lose hope - I don't think God is against you finding love! Sometimes these things happen in their own time. A few thoughts - have you considered trying new types of activities, like a dance class or book club? Mix it up to increase your chances of meeting singles.

Also keep an open mind meeting people randomly like you said, grocery store, coffee shop etc. Put yourself out there chatting to people. And for apps, keep tweaking your profile - get friends to review it.

Plus working on yourself is important too. Go to the gym, pick up a hobby, focus on being your best self so when you do meet someone you have confidence.

I know it's discouraging when nothing pans out, but don't give up! You seem like a great catch, so keep putting in effort and trust it'll happen at the right time. And who knows, maybe one day you'll laugh about all this frustration with your future partner. You've got this!

Dating options come when you pursue your purpose in life. I got hit on when I was busing to church and when I was busing home from work. I was fulfilling my purpose which was why the universe was giving me dating opportunities. I believe those options came from God cause when I was in university, guys never hit on me, and as soon as I finish school, its at least 4 guys a month hitting on me and I wear normal clothes and am average looking.
