I don't know, I guess it's just a family things none of my parents or grandparents or sibling ever opened up and if I said something like I'm feeling tired or I'm hot I would get scolded by my grandmother (she literally love scolding for everything).
in my family we never say i love you either we just tease each other to show love so guess we're all pretty shy when it come to showing feelings.

I have not much to vent except that last week when i went to my grandmother house she spend her time scolding me for eating too much (while we literally had to put food in the trash because they were too much leftover), also scold me because I said I preferred walking in the shade instead of under the direct sun (scold me saying everyone was too warm not just me but still insist on walk under the direct sun...)
I also had to spend 1 entire weeks of eating alone in the kitchen because she keep scolding me because she think I eat too much, I paid for the food, I cooked it all for everyone and then she go around scolding me because I eat too much of said food... She also said I cook too fatty stuff so she went and eat a salad and a tomato not eating the food I made then I saw her eating a whole chocolate tablet and half of a baguette because she got angry (then she told me a salad and tomato wasn't enough... like of course it's better to eat chocolate and bread in front of the tv at 1 am than eating some bolognese pasta I made 3 hours doing...).

It's great we don't see each others a lot so I can keep my calm when dealing with her.
That's what I do, I don't care what she say I just eat what I want the funny things is that is said I've eat too much (it was lamb) but she didn't saw how much I've actually ate cause I ate a lot of it in the kitchen and they were only my mother and me XD
I went in the kitchen to talk to my mother and ate tons of lamb when i was there and my grandmother was just sitting in the living room in from of the tv.
So I actually ate a lots more than she thoughts (and they were still too much lamb) I think she just forgot how much young people actually eat compared to older people.
Too i'm thin so I don't really get why she bother me.
It was delicious and I ate everything, when I knew she wasn't gonna even taste it then I put butter and parmesan in it and it taste 100 times more delicious than the light version I had made for her XD
definitely was the best dishes I've ate in the weeks i was there
