I think anything over a BMI of 30 is unacceptable.

I'd be hard pressed to find someone with a 30BMI I'm attracted to. I'm usually attracted to athletic women, who of course would have a higher BMI than a fat woman or a lazy woman who wore the same size dress, because they'd weigh more because muscle is denser than fat. Ronda Rousey has a much higher BMI than Cher or Madonna, for instance. I think there's a point where they just likely aren't going to be jacked enough to score a 30 based off muscle unless they are 'roiding up though. I was trying to think about the shorter women I dated... I still don't think they made it up that far though, so yeah, I'd say 30 is too much.

Actual weight, number on the scale I've never concerned myself with, DUE to height and body type. The largest woman I ever dated was a woman who was 175, but she was 6'4" and was HHH cup, so a great deal of her weight was there, not in a giant gut. Now a 5'0" woman at that weight would be 34.2, and wouldn't hit 30 until around 155lbs, which is FAR too heavy for someone that height and actually into the obese range, so I can't say I'd be okay with even a 30BMI at that height. Interesting to think about though. So many women focus on the number on the scale in blind devotion regardless of what it indicates. I'm not sure what better device I would recommend, but I've not put a lot of support into scales in a vacuum since I was obese.

Eh, that doesn't mean shit if we're being specific, since people carry their weight so differently and especially when it comes to women, as their fat distribution varies so much.

However, for a wide range of what I could find someone attractive in? Probably around 16 - 35, but it just depends on the individual, as the factors I said previously impact that. So, it's not a set in stone type of thing

Not sure for men, as for women, I think, over 25 is overweight.

My BMI is 18.7-19.0

I need to lose maybe 3 more kilograms of fat and then start working out to gain the muscle instead.

As for my mom, she is 168 cm and 58 kg and her BMI is 21, however, she is in a very good shape. She regularly cycles and rides a horse.

And about men, I think it works differently.

My ex’s BMI was 26, at 187cm, he was 90-92 kg but it was muscle not fat and nobody would think he was fat.

So, muscle can take up lots of weight and still make you look very fit.

I am all about body positivity, but I think the best kind of body positivity is to take care of your weight.

Weight gain can lead to literally most kinds of health problems. Our bodies are not meant to be big. So, it’s more about health rather than aesthetics. Aesthetically, I can like someone overweight too. But I’d want to encourage them to lose weight because I’d want them to be healthy.

And also being in the right weight range gives you so much confidence.

Bmi isn't even accurate for very tall or very short people. I've been told by 3 doctors now that they don't use that on me to calculate if I'm healthy or not so men keep that in mind if you want a short or tall girl

Well tbh my answer isn't going to be very PC. My bmi is 21.5. I'd prefer it if she was 5'3 to be no more than 130 which makes it 23. I'm just really active so I can't be doing with people who are overly lazy or don't work out.

Well, you're wrong. My daughter was measured with a BMI of over 30 as a teenager. The moron doctor told her she was borderline obese rather than actually looking at her: she's a gymnast and martial artist. That's the sort of thing that turns girls anorexic.

This depends on so many things like height, figure, skeletal structure, etc., that I cannot really give an answer. But suffice it to say, obesity is not ideal and there is no such thing as “healthy at any size.”
