I don't know. I've lived in USA my entire life and I have stayed safe. Although I was the victim of a burglary a few years ago and lossed well over a thousand dollars in stuff. It was not fun coming home to what was left.
Obviously there are neighbors that are less safe than others. I just avoid areas that don't feel safe. I've been in a small number of fights, but never something so severe that hospitalization or death was my attackers goal.
Gun violence isn't a as common as foreigners seem to think. I've never witnessed it myself. Every now and then I hear about a shooting in my city or a neighboring city, but it's far from a daily or weekly occurrence.
I grew up in a violent environment so I really don't care what crazy assholes do, as long as they stay away from me. I'm not going to put up with their bullshit and will do what I need to stop them. I just go places where I know people usually behave themselves so I don't get involved in their stupidity (besides work). I work security at a bar and have done this on and off for years. I had to develop some de-escalation skills. If talking doesn't work and they still want to fight, there's always good old fashioned violence. The world was once a much more violent place and it may be again. You just have to protect yourself and roll with the punches
it's not safe anymore. i can only speak on america because i live here. ever since the release of lockdown, people have been nuts. driving insane and fast, being rude, won't move in the grocery stores, just overall don't care about anyone but themselves. it's so bad right now.
That damn vaccine has messed up a lot of people. All the more fuel to the fire to slowly take away our freedoms. Young people are dropping dead for no reason. And people are going Karen on each other. Are the boosters meant to help or derail us further?
When you didn't take the vaccine but you're still paranoid.
@AngryCarl2 I'm neither paranoid, nor have gotten Covid. đ

It's an "Only in America" problem, pretty much. I have written this several times already, whenever we have guests from the United States, they need a week to decompress from their US-based tension and then comment how safe they feel in Europe or Germany. Men and women alike.
Well, youâre a woman most women donât hang out at night time by themselves walking around or even driving itâs best to go with other people just donât look for trouble and if trouble finds you ignore it most people donât fight with their fist anymore they pull out guns. Itâs a shame. Donât get yourself in that situation. If youâre ever alone driving and a man keep staring at you donât look back donât look over in his direction. Completely focus on driving. Heâll get the point.
You can't live your life in fear. But people allowed themselves to be ruled by fear during the covid years. I don't know what America is like. But generally, you have to gravitate towards good places and people, with the best intentions, and it for the most part keeps you safe. There is always a risk of living though, something the covid maniacs forgot.
I don't know anyone who was actually afraid of catching Covid.
Everyone was perpetually shitting themselves here. Non stop BBC propaganda, pumping fear into peoples homes, with a rolling covid death rate funny, they don't do that with cancer or heart disease. Least in the US you have fox to provide a bit of balance. Mostly the old bastards who were the most terrified. Many haven't and will never recover from the terror.
Pfft, media overreaction.
Anymore than what? If your talking about many years ago, there are a lot more people in most countries than there used to be not so long ago. More people more problems.
But problems have always existed, now there just on news seconds after they happen. Hell yes it's safe to go out. And even if it wasn't, if your living in fear always, then you are equally doomed.
America is becoming very dangerous, and if we enter a depression in the next couple of years, all the poverty, mental illness, and drug addiction coupled with the social breakdown, things are going to get wild. Europe may get taken down with us if the dollar collapses, but they might last a little longer.
We have the Euro as currency, we are not relying on the dollar in any form whatsoever.
Quote:
"The euro is the second-largest reserve currency as well as the second-most traded currency in the world after the United States dollar. As of December 2019, with more than âŹ1.3 trillion in circulation, the euro has one of the highest combined values of banknotes and coins in circulation in the world."

I got out of the cities a long time ago. Pretty safe where I live. You'd have to wander quite a ways to get down into the gang territory. It's like a 20 minute drive to the city.
It's not as bad as people think it is. I go out every day and I don't have a scratch on me. I go out on weekends true. You just have to be aware of your surroundings like anyplace else in the world. Cause crime is everywhere not just here in America. America is a lot safer than most countries
I have never felt unsafe living in a big âscaryâ city as the news portraits. I have walked home after midnight.
The news is doing a great job putting fear into people.
I would not go alone and unarmed in a Democrat run city at night but most other places are safe
Not as Safe As It Used to Be. Just Be Wary and Smart. xxoo
yes, but use your brain and don't intoxicate it and be prepared.
I have no issues going out. I have even gone out at night and never had any issues other than people who don't want to move out of the way so you can get your pram off the bus
That's like the entire world, not just America.
Evil is on the loose. Best to carry self protection, non-lethal and lethal.
i live in germany. never in my life felt in danger outside.
Ofcourse not ur in Germany lol
you said "don't know if it's just america" :D i guess some parts of africa and asia would be fairly similar in that aspect.
I never felt safe when I lived in America. Thankfully, I don't have that problem anymore.
Mostly unsafe depending on where you are and where you plan to go. Some areas are ver y safe. Where are you?
I'm here in the insane US
thats the big problem now it is only the unstable who feel safe out now we will get it back but not for a long, long time
No it's perfectly safe here. But have mind yourself everywhere in the world
