What's your favourite month of the year?

I think it's April here where I live in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in northern California. There are fresh, new leaves on the trees, flowers are blooming, the wild grasses are green. The view from our house looks like Ireland.

The days and nights are a perfect temperature. There are occasional light rain showers but the heavy rains are over. There are big puffy clouds in the blue sky. The air is fresh and clear. The birds, bees and butterflies are busy. Deer, lizards and other wild animals are out and about.

I like October cause that is when you have Thanksgiving and cool Starbucks drinks. I like December cause that is when you have Christmas, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, and New Years Eve. I like January cause that is when you have New Years Day. Last New Years, my mom and dad and I went to Niagara Falls with my cousin and her kids and her mom and dad and we had an amazing time for two days watching the winter lights and the fire works.

I've always liked September. The warm days and cool nights are perfect. Some of the leaves have changed and getting a some fall colors, which is nice when you live out in the sticks.

The biggest plus... no biting insects.😎👍
