I've painted my interior rooms and once my exterior house. This time around, I'm going to have to get it done professionally, as much as it will cost in the long run. I just don't have the proper sanding equipment nor do I have the time since I work part time and volunteer part time and am on a board of directors and in an environmental class and group. I'm still doing my interior rooms, but it's slow going. If it's ever going to be finished, I'll have to cough up the money. If there were two of me, maybe I could.
My husband & I usually paint the interior walls together.
If the room is small, a pan & roller will be enough.
If the area is large, we use our paint sprayer.
It's actually fun painting walls & ceilings.
I generally do my own painting. Remove wall plates for switches and receptacles, remove ceiling fans, overhead light fixtures, and air registers. Two coats of paint on the ceiling, two coats of paint on the walls, then two coats of paint on the baseboards and trim.
Thanks for MHO!
My dad painted my present one because I was still in college
If I was to do it now probably myself or ask my brother because with rollers it'd be far quicker

I call a professional and make an appointment. If I need to move a wardrobe or leveling laundry machine, I have always hungry male friends and I can cook, but for bigger jobs I prefer guys who know what they do.
My sister, cousin, and I painted the whole inside of our house a couple of years ago. Needs done again already and it'll be done by the same three people. We use a combination of paint brushes, rollers, pads, and a paint sprayer.
I always let the professional does what they are good at. I’m good at what I do so I just focus on that 😊
We're extremely fortunate in being able to afford having professional painters and decorators, as and when required.
I paint it myself. Not saying that a professional couldn't do a better job, but I hate spending money on something I can do and be satisfied with.
We are renovating the whole kitchen by our selves, including painting the walls, changing the floor and so on. It's fun honestly
there's something very rewarding in doing something yourself and seeing the results in the end. If its only a room, I would do it myself.
Depends on the size and how much time I have.
Nothing wrong with doing things yourself. I got someone else to do it because of time issue.
Since you would do it yourself, good for you.
If I had the time, id do it myself.
I paint it myself and typically choose the color myself too.
I prefer to paint my rooms in my house or my apartment myself. I'm very particular. I get my color schemes the way I want them. I'm the only one that is the blame for any screw ups.
However you want to. I hired someone. They sprayed it. Even the ceiling and trim. It took less than 12 hrs.
I get my wife to do it. I suck at painting.
Paint it myself
I would probably hire a professional to paint any of my rooms.
I get a helper and paint it. Did it last November
I paint it myself. I'm pretty handy so I rarely hire anyone to do anything on my house
I have wall paper. I get dad to do the decorating
I have a professional do this. I don't want to inhale the fumes.
I paint it myself.
I usually do it with the help of my family
I paid someone to paint it
I’m a former painter
Either myself or I hire some Mexicans
