Have you never seen a real rainbow?

It rains a lot here this time of year and rainbows are a very common sight. Quite often we get double rainbows.

But I reckon in drier places rainbows must be a rarer sight. So I was wondering how many people have never actually seen a real rainbow first hand

Most of the people never ever seen a rainbow.

I have to explain this. They see a rainbow but they don't see it for real.

- Rainbows can only be seen at a certain angle. - Dubble rainbows al always a mirror image of each other..

- the inside of the rainbow is white.

- red is always on top..

If you know these facts... You have seen a rainbow... 😄 😋

I'm in California, which has some of the best weather in the world. Still, we DO get rain, and where there is rain and sun, there are going to be rainbows. So, yes, of course I've seen rainbows many times - even some double rainbows. This despite 300 rain-free days a year on average.

I'm in Western Australia which is made almost entirely of desert and bushland. We still see plenty of them each year- probably not as much as other places in the world since I've never seen a double rainbow, but it's definitely a universal experience

Many a rainbow 🌈 have mine eyes beheld! a lot of doubles as well. Although rare, even triplets.. Rare reflective concentric echoes of color in the sky.

Ya know, as a kid I would get on my tricycle and try to find the end of a rainbow, truth.

Has anyone else done this as a young one? Try to find the end of a rainbow?

I grew up in hurricane alley. Seen many a beautiful one over some real carnage down below.

Not only have I seen a rainbow, my husband flew me through double rainbows.

The videos I took while he was piloting the aircraft were spectacular!

Yes, many times. I like seeing them, even though they're a bad omen for me, because every time I see one, I have some bad luck shortly after.
