Heyy, I have two inputs. One positive one negative. Even the negative one is just meant helpful.
As a fellow tcg enthusiast, (even though no pokemom) this is helpfull advise. Secret tipp though: buy singles cheaper 99% of times.
I would post this as something thats not a question because it is NOT a question. Posting something thats not a question as a question is a valid reason for reports and content deletion.
You could even have asked it in a way of: 'do you know that product xy is on sale right now? ' or 'Would you as a pkmn tcg collector be interested in the following sale?'
I wish XY was on sale again, can’t use my Mega Mewtwo Y in a game ever since my brother stole and lost my Mewtwo EX, L + ratio. It would be cool though if Mega Evolution made a comeback, they brought back EX cards as if that’s a flex so why not? Imagine the artworks they could make for them, a Mega Charizard X alternate art where Charizard is battling Mewtwo or Primal Groudon and Kyogre, something like that. A call back to Ash Greninja battling MCharizard in the Kalos tournament. Anyways, thanks for the tips but as someone who understands the chase of the pull, I’m just going to stick with getting official product and building up excitement and anticipation when opening packs. It may be more expensive but it’s not just about the destination, it’s also about the journey. There is nothing like finally pulling your chase card (s) after a good while of searching for it, pack by pack. That’s what makes opening them so fun but I guess some people are just too old for fun 🤷♀️🤔. The only time I’ve ever gotten a single was for my Dragon Majesty rainbow rare White Kyurem GX, this expansion alone was super rare and it was good so demand was high. Plus the chances of me pulling that specific card, let alone the rainbow rare version were about the same as you encountering a cat operating a tank in full armor and everything. Resorting to the short cut in a situation like that is valid, otherwise if you just do it for all of your cards, I can guarantee you will feel little to no fulfillment unless you’re trying to keep it for a while until it value skyrockets and then sell it years later or something.
Oh no, with 'XY' I was using that as random variables to insert for any name of a set. It was bad luck that XY is a name that exists in pokemon.
I myself play magic the gathering. My last pokemom cards I got where during the perl and diamond edition.
I am trying to think of an equivalent that can happen in magic. I guess the closest would be something like: can you recommend me something I can play at the mom? (Using mom as a short form of moment.)
An answer would be: angels have some great stuff in mom. (Using mom as the official set name MOM: march of the machine)
