Did you like climbing trees when you were a kid?

I did. Unfortunately, when I was 14 years old, I had an accident. I stood on a rotten branch and fell, hitting the ground with my back. It was 8-9 meters. I also crashed my left hand.

The next nine months I spent in hospitals :D I've never tried it again.

That's unfortunate. I fell out of trees a few times, but the worst I suffered was having the wind knocked put of me when I landed on my back.

I loved to climb trees. Sometimes we would go int the woods and one of us would climb a tree and somebody else would cut it down and the kid in the tree would ride it down and jump off before it hit the ground.

One time I went to a party that was in a field. I was drunk and decided to climb a tree. I got up pretty high and decided I needed to pee. I peed from the branches and then I could hear a girl down below start laughing and saying it was raining out.

We all climbed trees when we were kids. I'd climb waaay up there as high as I could get until the branches started bending under my weight. I could see over two story houses.

Then as an adult I was a carpenter and would climb around in house framing. That was a lot more dangerous than climbing trees, but it had a better view.

I also helped my dad & brothers build a large tree house which we modeled after Bart's tree house in The Simpsons.

Yes i grew up in washington state and loved climbing douglas fir trees you can get clear to the top pretty easy i have also fallen and broke bones before

As for me an adventurous individual I am & as a kid I climbed everything & the only thing that sucked about climbing things was when gravity did its thing. Boom!

Sure. I use to climb trees a lot... I even use to shoot bolts up into 50-60 foot trees and climb them with a harness and ascenders into the canopy...

yeah i climbed many trees when i was a kid. i think the last time i did was when i cut my hand open so never again lol

Yes I did, it didn’t matter how tall it was. They used to call me Tom boy.
Not just trees, walls too and buildings etc.

Not after I seen this kid get stuck really high up in this huge tree & had to get the fire dept. to bring him down. I was like 6 years old.

Reminds me of how easily a fellow kindergarten kid once fell off a tree from like 4ft height. Yes he cried, but he did as well when in winter he got a snow ball thrown at his face.

Yeah, my uncle made me a wood carving out of a tree I used to climb as a kid after it fell in a storm.

Yes. More so than most kids. My tree climbing proficiency earned me a few nicknames. Like Monkey Boy and Spiderman.

Yeah I did for years but no trees around to climb and don’t want to fall because I way more than back then and could break a branch
